To the no reply I got on who is doing the narration in the BLEACH episodes of late... froze on the ED credits... could only make out 2 Kanji of the 4... dictionary got third... typed in Yahoo JP... voila... Tobita Nobuo (Akabane in Get Backers, eg). Knew I knew the voice!

JP Wiki for him BLEACH is listed for Narration but in error have him down as the Arrancar Seki Toshihiko is doing. Right Tobita's also doing Cloud.

When a Shinigami gets killed, it's end of story, no coming back, right? Why if so? When a Shinigami kills a Hollow (Arrancar apply to as well?) the original soul either goes to Soul Society or Hell.

Ok, Aizen's been making new Arrancar left, right and centre and most seem very skilled / ready for battle in no time at all... how is that? In comparison, the Shinigami on the squads train for years, decades even seems like to get to their skill level.

Aizen-sama makes Gin look like a boy scout ^^;; A truly evil character.

Yeah, Seki-sam is back as "Kaien" ... dang, was hoping he'd have an encounter with Ichigo. (anime telling isn't done but his appearance is done in Vol30... manga covered Ishida's and Chad's battles already where the anime hasn't yet).

Another PofT seiyuu popping up in BLEACH (no surprise ^^): Toriumi Kousuke (Sengoku) as Szayel Aporro Grantz (Espada) ... the one who's conducting experiments that he didn't think Aizen knew about ^^; And is Renji's next opponent (manga) ... who killed his BROTHER?!! Hollows can have families?! oO


Nice to hear Kanna Nobutoshi (Ban in GB, Tasuki in FY...) in BLEACH but his character can't die fast enough for me... Arrancar (Espada) Nnoitra Jiruga (tall, skinny guy, think he's #1)

Manga 30 shows more new (as in introduced) Arrancar... one's a short runt in hot pants, go go boots, short vest (& no shirt) and long sleeves... perfectly straight... not ^^

And the 2nd movie "teasers" in the OP&ED sequences... ah, wish could be in Japan to see it now and not stuck waiting another 8 months or so.

Ep 147 is into manga vol 28 (at p103 the anime has made a detour). Vol 30 came out last month (4th volume this year). Current file is 300 ... so 30 files (Vol30 last file is 269 from bleach7.com, I don't have it in yet) which is about 4 tankubon (~8 chapters in one volume) If anime follows just the manga, get 2-3 episodes out of one volume. So I wonder if the anime will be heading for another AO arc to keep from surpassing the anime or ending in spring maybe.... Shades of PofT.

Small, small dent made in my anime pile ... caught up with D. Gray-man, BLEACH and watched Conan 11th movie (raw).

First 4 eps of Hero Tales got through. Only so-so for me.
Rental Magica not watching anymore.

Yes, the baddies of IY have been reincarnated as a couple of powerful but not so great fathers. ^^ Nah but their seiyuu are ... watched ep110 & 111 last night (yeah behind, tell me something I don't know), and "read" tankubon 23&24 (and still behind) this morning. Have a hard time remembering that Kurosaki Isshin is done by Morikawa Toshiyuki... maybe because Isshin isn't sexy enough ^^ With the father he's got, Ishida doesn't need any other enemies. oO Ryuuken Ishida (even white haired like Fluffy) brought maliciously to life by Narita Ken. And another PofT cast member "jumps" to BLEACH, Onosaka Masaya as the Arrancar (edit ahem, Vizard) trying to be Ichigo's friend, Shinji.
