Ran in Hana to Yume. Started back in 2005. I happened to get HtY issue that had Chapter 2 in it and at the time thought it was interesting and had a definite s-ai leaning ^^;; Forgot about it for awhile... found the chapter again and went in search of manga volumes in ~fall 2006. 3 volumes were out by then. Quickly ordered ^^ Been enjoying the series a great deal since then (although plenty of details I have no idea due to lack of Japanese skills). Was surprised to learn Vol8 would be it as there seemed to be plenty of story left to tell by end of Vol7... Vol8 came out in March but well, I didn't get it in until Apr 29.

Got V8 (final volume) in Monday 29th... looked at it very briefly then. Went through on Friday night bit more, lots more on Saturday. Sunday was looking for JP fans reviews, blogs, etc. Found a few but still, as best as Excite JP translated, didn't really find a detailed talk about the Volume. *sigh* Finding English fans to talk about it with even harder *head desk* Found one person on LJ, inga_b (2 others mentioned in a journal entry but from 1-2 years ago) who has all the volumes and knows about as much JP as I so one person to fangirl with once she catches up. Series deserves more fans though!

An all too brief description of it here. Ivy Scans did chapters 1-4 more than a year ago. No updates since and her/group page is down/defunct now too.

Mitsuya's grandfather, Yoshimitsu, has always regretted not being able to save (from what he didn't say) his best friend (known since very young) when he was a teen. Mitsuya is hearing this after seeing a picture of his grandfather with Jin as teens. Mitsuya looks exactly like his grandfather. Yoshimitsu prays to god that time would stop, to be able to correct what he couldn't then. An earthquake happens then... Mitsuya who was holding onto his grandfather's violin at the top of a flight of stairs at the hospital starts to fall. His mother, who is bit mentally unbalanced - she never recovered from Mitsuya being kidnapped as a young child and is utterly obessive in trying to keep him safe - tries to keep him from falling but fails. Mitsuya catches her and takes the brunt of the fall. He also thought he heard his grandfather's voice, his wish. He wakes up... in the past. Shortly thereafter he's found by Jin who had been looking for Yoshimitsu who had run away from home. He lives with Jin with his older sister. Their parents were killed when they were young kids. Jin's parents (very well off) took them in as they were good friends with his parents. Jin's mother is Italian. Jin has a younger sister, Aiko. Mitsuya thinks he's dreaming at first and Jin just thinks his best friend is acting strange... and that's the start of a whole lot to come. ^^

Mangaka was also a tease... did fab J&M or solo images of them for the inside and/or back covers and for the chapter front pages but most of those images do not translate to events told in the story!! Argh.

I ordered 2 boxes.

There's also a new (past week) D.Gray-man card set: sticker on top layer of the card, underneath is part of a puzzle picture (10 cards = 1 image, 6 cards make a second image), and there's 6 special cards. Images of can see in this auction (ends in a day). Also have 2 boxes of this ordered. Think there's only 1 card in a pack and only 12 packs in a box... no gum.

OK, Order disappeared since 5x for DGray which was a shame. Shinsen *was* the only one else doing it at the time so was glad that the translation had improved since I had last looked at their version. Now over past few episodes have Your Mom doing, but now there's 3 other groups too?? o_* Anyone watched these versions??

Can't even be bothered to run script through a spellchecker... higure also uses fonts that are hard to read. yuurisan had better fonts. Love Conan The Movie Book ~ Meitantei Conan Official Fanbook (This is Animation). This is the 3rd Love Conan mook. Other two been great for anime and manga images, character profiles, pairings/couples (real and not but all MXF) This came out the other week (when the movie did).

Love Conan Movie Seal Book out today (26th) in Japan. Book of stickers this time (there have been 2 other seal books but it'sbeen 4 years since the last one) with images from the movies (all not sure) including some shots from movie 12. 500Yen.

The 12th movie 2nd shitajiki is out (other movie goods (only can get at the theatre) I have no idea about this year. *sigh* Can't find a link (with all the links that are on the JP Movie official page) and person I'd normally ask to snag a few things has been swamped so haven't wanted to impose upon.
Usually the 2nd shitajiki has a collage of images from the film... this doesn't so bit disappointed. It's cute-ish but... Ok, 11th movie 2nd board didn't have a collage either (yeah for dead memory cells). Can see it here (not my images).

This episode and since ep 495 says AO (anime original) ... if Akai's last (that we are aware of) act is this then should definitely be manga based... of course doesn't help I'm not current with either the manga or anime.

With Ep0 of the 3rd (And final) OVA series out today (R2 DVD in Japan), and the manga over (still thinking what a lame ass ending that was!!!) wasn't expecting to find (6) new plush out (not UFO catcher either (and last set of those was 1 (2?) years ago now), but "retail" ones). 18cm high. 1890Yen each.

Thought there was lots of Kanda in ep78? Well... ep79 is WAAAAAY better! ^^;;; Besides a few annoying Noah bits to skip through, it's Kanda (and Sakurai) to the max... and half naked the entire time which is why you should watch it raw and not subbed because don't want those pesky titles obscuring the view ^^;;

Only one new (not another series of an existing show) anime series of the 6 I've tried so far I want to see more of...

Never even seen the manga before. Wanted to get a sense of whereabouts the anime was in relation to it though (AO plot required soon to keep from catching up or still miles behind). I seem to get zip for answers to questions wherever I post so best to go searching myself... a lot of DLing later... ep76 is chapter 90. 153 was the newest scanalated one I saw (posted in the past week).

Caught up with Shakugan no Shana II this week... Ep8 - 23... end of 23... in the final episode... eh?! Geh, thought would be 25 or 26. DLed raw of 24 and watched late last night. ARGH. Yet another OPEN ended "ending." Wasn't satisfied with it, nope.

One thing that bugged me the most about Shana II was the continual "battle" between Shana and Yoshida for Yuuji... thought it was pretty damn clear who he preferred at the end of the first series.

So here's *hoping* there's another series and not too too far off in the future.

Then there's You're Under Arrest Full Throttle which I was excited about, but it's BORING and the character development has gone backwards. *sigh*

Will keep hopes up that the Slayers new series (fall 2008?) won't disappoint. :)
